QUALIFYING:
Tipton's Race Recap: "Great season gang. While we didn’t win the whole thing, we do have some things to walk away with to be proud of. First, we won the team championship again. That’s for all of you. Be proud of it because each of you earned it together. We put four guys into the championship playoffs. Be proud of that. We had significant improvements in all of your finishes throughout the season with Brad getting his first win in here. I feel that it won’t be long before Rob and Brian are accomplishing that same task. And Tim winning the final race of the season, even if not for a championship, still sends the message that this team is and will continue to be a contender. On a personal note, I’d like to say how proud I am of all of you this season. It had its ups & downs but you guys kept your heads up and kept digging. So give yourselves a pat on the back for me and enjoy the break between seasons. I feel like it will be the one where we really prove to everyone how good this team really is. Thanks for another great season."

"Roller coaster of an evening. Qualified P2, which was a great result and one of my best starting spots of the year. On the start of the race I was black flagged for jumping the start. I had to do a drive through penalty. Fortunately I came out ahead of the leader and caught a caution to keep me on the lead lap. From there I restarted in the back and was able to work my way up to 15th where I spent most of the race. With 43 to go I stopped under green for what I thought would be my last stop. I settled in 12th place after pit stops. With 15 to go the caution came out. After a 2 tire stop I came out in the lead with Tim in 2nd. On the final restart Tim was in the lead and I started 3rd. I raced my tail off to hold P2 off and let Tim gain a lead. I ultimately ended the race in P4. Our 2 tire strategy was enough for us to win the team championship for the 2nd year in row. Congrats to Timothy Latham #5 on the win. Congrats to Brad Herman#85 on making the finals in the individual points championship & heck of a comeback to finish P6. As always, thanks to GearUp Apparel for the support again this season. Also have to thank Franklin Motorsports and Latham-Grafix for their continued support. Special thanks to Tipton for all his support this season & literally using dial up to connect with us tonight."

"Well the season ended how it went all year for me, battling back from bad qualifying and pit calls to just flat out bad luck and running outta talent, it was mediocre season but we made a rally at the end and tried to make it count in the playoffs, started the night in p.12 after missing the qualifying lap by a little and was starting to work my way through some traffic when I got involved in a lap 13 or so incident being the innocent bystander and had to rally back with fixing damage and trying to stay close to the pack, only had 2 cautions to fix damage and with the last one falling with about 12 laps to go in the race the we made a team call and did 2 tires which I thought would work bc it’s what gave me my good finish last week. Got me up into 5th with a chance to fight for the championship but my car still had 1 minute of damage on it, Timothy Latham #5 and Brian McEvoy #79 helped a lot with our team work at timing restarts, was .048 short of 3rd which would of help but I can’t thank all of GearUp Apparel for the support and hard racing all year and for our effort we got the team win! Thanks to Tipton for also being on the box all year and keeping the moral of the team up same with Michael Politis #6 let’s go for all of em next season!"

"The ending was bittersweet. Without my mistakes the last few weeks, I'd be a 2x SRN champion. However, we did win the race and the team championship due to a ballsy 2 tire call for all of us at the end. What a fantastic season overall and I can't wait to do it again next time. Thanks to GearUp Apparel and Repp Sports/Raze Energy for giving me the opportunity. Season 5, here we come! Let's threepeat this team championship!1"

"The unpredictable nature of oval racing really makes things interesting, and this is one of the reasons I changed my driving discipline from road course to ovals. I like how I did not contribute to our teams success for the final race of the season at all, I was sliding, spinning, doing 360's, pretty much bouncing around the track for the most part and didn't deliver a finish as I crossed the finish with a penalty. We didn't seem to have long run pace but we were unbelievable in the short runs. We were riddled with black flags and unforeseeable incidents. We ended the race on a high note but it was very unfortunate that our driver Brad Herman#85 was taking out of contention early on and we didn't have a chance to see him compete for the title alongside Ryan Johnson and Joseph Causey as they were putting on a show all race long. Bitter-sweet ending for his season. Timothy Latham #5 and Brian McEvoy #79 on the other hand have proven to work well together. Timothy is such a tough competitor that even if he took no tires he would have won the race, two tires is more than enough for him to get the job done. Congratulations to him for another great victory leading the way for the TEAM . Brian put on a stellar performance under heavy pressure and it was an exciting race to watch. We came together there at the end to represent our boy Tipton he has been keeping us together all season, we can't thank him enough for his dedication to the team. Thanks to everyone at SRN for racing us clean, and the Speed Racing Network staff for putting on great broadcasts on YouTube . Our STAFF has been excellent, GearUp Apparel has been a big part of our success as well and we couldn't achieve as much as we do without them. Thank you for all those who are tuning in and are being part of our racing community."
